Unpacking the “Library”: Exploring Works in Progress Across the Field of LIS is a conference designed to provide a professional development opportunity for students and alumni of the School of Library and Information Science at The University of Iowa. The conference is sponsored by B Sides, open access journal for the school, and LISSO, the SLIS student organization. The conference is free and open to the public.

  • Librarians and information professionals curious about recent SLIS scholarship
  • LIS students enrolled in an online degree program
  • Library staff and paraprofessionals considering an LIS degree, or anyone else considering the degree
